The Jungle Book 1st Day (Friday) Collection Report. Very Good.

The Jungle Book has taken very good start at box office on opening Friday (1st day). Film has collected an estimated 9.75-10 crore nett. This is excellent considering all factors. Plus, film is carrying good positive report and hence expect business to grow on Saturday (2nd day) and Sunday (3rd day). Film registered an occupancy in the region of 55% for day one which is also fantastic considering it was normal working Friday.
The Jungle Book will chase above 30 crore nett mark for opening weekend. Film might even challenge 35 crore mark and that will depend on how film folds on day 2. Also, it will be interesting to see, whether film can challenge to be the highest Hollywood grosser in India or not and eventually touch 100 crore mark. Film is dubbed in Hindi version and is released in big numbers. So, big business should come from that also.
