Brothers 2nd Monday (9th Day) Collection

Brothers has collected a poor 90 lakh nett approx on 9th Day (2nd Monday) at box office. Thus, film total collection stands at approx 79.25 crore nett. Brothers 4 day total in second week is around 7 crore nett mark. Film 2nd week collection is heading for below 10 crore nett mark which is much much below expected level. Film is registering drop with each passing day. Film did manage to get good screen count for second week running but fail to capitalise on that.

Brothers should cross 81 crore nett by the end of second week and lifetime collection now looking at around 85 crore nett mark. Second week performance has ensured that film will find difficulty in touching 90 crore nett in its lifetime. Film is saved by Independence Day Weekend otherwise its box office performance would have been depressing of sort.

Collection Breakup -

1st Week - 72.35 crore nett.
2nd Weekend - 6 crore nett.
2nd Monday - 0.9 crore nett (est).

Total - 79.25 crore nett (approx).

  1. When is the trailer of Tamasha releasing Ankur?

    1. Kanika Sharma

Tamasha's trailer will be out in last week of September or may be first week of October.

  2. As expected brothers crashed big time after first weekend.....sad to say but another akshay Kumar failure......seriously he has to think Nw.....N gud to see some good moviegoers here in kanika Sharma.....Otherwise here r some Useless people who alwz say gud things about their favourite stars n bad about other stars which they hate.....akshay fans gives excuses that Khan films releases on festivals...Thts why crosses 200-300cr.....loosers they r..... Bajrangi only Njyyd a single holiday n collected 320cr....same is the case with brothers but less than 85cr....seriously guys u hav to think too before saying anything......I'm a Srk fan but at the same time I'm a Bollywood fan.... Nt against akki..... Cheers

    1. Dear friend Akshat Goyal and all other who blame akki for his wrong movie choice.... You all said that akki don't make good movie but what about Baby Gabbar and s26 and holiday... Kya wo achi movie nahi thi... I think bhoot hi achi movie thi or akki ne b kabhi jabardast acting ki thi.. Leken wo b to itna nahi chal pai Jitni or movie chalti hen...we accept that brother se jo ummed thi wo unpar khari nahi utari... Leken akki ne apna kam ache se kiya... Ab ji audience uski best movie bhi dekhne nahi aati... Usey uski bad movie ke bare mein b bolne ka haq nahi h...1 movie kharab aayi 2 to achi thi tab konsa logon ne unko accept kar liya.... Aaj akki ke haters bhoot hen...or wo sab Isliye bane ke ek time pe akki ne khan ko overtake kar liya tha or wo srk ke brabar pahuch gaya tha... Aaj Khans ke fans usi karan akki se jalte hen...or akki fan b accept Karen agar movie achi nahi ban pai or nahi chali h to.... Leken in sab mein akki ka Koi fault nahi h...

    2. Akshat Goel You are right Akki's choice is bad Brothers was not a movie like Bajrangi Bhaijan where people enjoyed that movie. Brothers was action genre and family audiences do not like blood WWE etc...
Gabbar was good choice to release Independence Day because thats the genre.
After two good movies Akki bring two bad movies therefore 70% peoples do not watch Akki's movies in Multiplexes they download and watch at home.

  3. Here in Africa,we follow Bollywood movies alot! Over the the couple of years Salman Ajay Aamir Srk and Hritik are movies we dare not to miss. Akshay is good but come on close to khans? When 2007/08? Jealous? For what man? What has akshay achieved? He just got lucky and broke into 20 crores single day! His peer groups command 30 crores opening day be it Aamir Salman Ajay SRK. Let akshay 're-strategize his motifs in hindi cinema apart from doing 10 movies without thinking how his fans will feel if d movie does well or not.
