Bombay Velvet Friday (1st Day) Collection Early Trends

Bombay Velvet has taken slow start at Box Office on Friday. Film started slow in Morning with occupancy recorded around 20-25%. Film picked up little in Noon time to register occupancy around 25-30%. However there is some respite for the film as it has picked up decent from Evening onward. If samples of Evening and Night shows are taken then film is reporting occupancy in around 50%. Occupancy is not great, not bad also. Metros are somewhat performing decent to good specially from Evening onward. However reports are not great from interiors.
As film started slow there is very remote chance of film touching double digit on 1st day. In fact early trend suggest Bombay Velvet first day collection is heading for 8-9 crore nett mark. Though still major single screen reports for the day is awaited and few night shows for the day left across all India. Hence, actual may vary from the trends.

Overall film has taken much below the mark start at box office. Big budget is riding on the film and ideally around 15 crore start would have been good. As for the first response of theatre audiences it is highly mixed and it will be interesting to see whether film can have good jump on Saturday (2nd day) or not.
