Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift' Movie Budget is to be Controlled.

Akshay Kumar recent release of 2015 'Baby' received good reviews from all corners and also from audiences. Film also did decent to good business at box office by collecting over 95 crore nett in India alone. But still film is touted in trade a semi Hit project. Main reason for that is film high budget. Nowadays because of crash of Satellite Rights prices, film major business is done from India theatricals. Although Baby recovered good amount of distributor share from India, but its other revenues are poor.

Hence, looking into all the fact, makers of Airlift have decided to control the budget of Airlift. Airlift is upcoming film of Akshay Kumar which will be released in Republic Day Weekend of 2016. Airlift movie is based on true story and is about largest human evacuation. Film shooting is just started few days back. News is that there will be no compromise on quality of the product. Film will be shot on grand scale. However, makers will look to control the publicity and advertising part of the film.

Also, there is news that Akshay Kumar is quite confident on the latest product and he has struck a profit sharing deal with 'Airlift.' Which in a way reduces the budget of the film significantly.

  1. If they will make it on grand scale & no compromise on quality then how they will controlled its budget. If they don't splash out on publicity, it will be minus point for Airlift. Means it will be another Average Fare for Akshay Kumar SIR.

  2. After his back to back to back failures producers are not willing to risk huge budget on Akshay movies.....

  3. akshay sir every single year he made more than 4 movies he is the real king we wait his films and you remember 2007 insha'allah

  4. On January 2016 with Super Hit Airlift Akshay Sir will squirt the cum on face of haters and barkers.
