Jai Ho Advance Booking for Opening Day. Good.

Jai Ho has registered very good advance booking at ticket counters for First Day (Friday). Although film advances started late on Wednesday, still it picked up on Wednesday and Thursday. As per latest report of 7 pm today, around 37-38% tickets are already Sold Out for first day. Samples are taken mainly from multiplex chain from various cities and also selected single screens. However if we compare Jai Ho advances with film like Ek Tha Tiger, Chennai Express or Dhoom 3 then it is below those. Honestly comparison is unfair though, but can gives us light how film will fare on opening day.

Advance Booking Report of Selected Cinemas in Selected Cities

Delhi - 34-35%.
Gurgaon - 29-30%
Mumbai - 39-40%
Hyderabad - 48-49%.
Kanpur (Limited Screens) - 40-41%

Mumbai advance booking is good with around 40% tickets are already Sold Out. For that matter even Hyderabad and Kanpur is also good. However Advance Booking report of Delhi and Gurgaon is little downer and will depend on instant booking tomorrow.

Salman Khan films opens to Housefull boards whenever releases. It will also happen for him in Jai Ho in Single Screens no doubt about that. But multiplex will start little slow in Morning and if reports are good then film should pick up through the day.

Multiplex advance booking is around 40% for Jai Ho which is good but could have been better. Single Screen advance booking is huge with around 36-37% reported which is even better than Holiday release like Dhoom 3 and Chennai Express. Looking from early trends Single Screen record is in danger tomorrow and history might be created there. But multiplex collection may remain below a Dhoom 3 or Chennai Express or Ek Tha Tiger.

Advance Booking of around 40% till last report suggest that film should open Bumper with around 60%+ occupancy guaranteed for the day. That means Jai Ho should collect in the range of 25 crore nett on Opening Day at least. However 30 crore nett magical mark is looking tough right now, but never say never for a Salman Khan starrer film. And if that somehow happens then there is no stopping for the film as Saturday and Sunday is going to be unprecedented.
