Krrish 3 Music Review

Krrish 3 is on schedule for release on Diwali (November) 2013. Krrish 3 stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut in lead role. Film is directed by Rakesh Roshan and music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. With such starry line up for the film there is huge expectation from the film. And yes expectation for the music of the film is even higher as their last installment Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish music was outstanding.

So, with huge expectation from the film let's start the music review of Krrish 3.

Music - Rajesh Roshan
Lyrics - Sameer Anjaan

1. Raghupati Raghav - Sung by Neeraj Shridhar, Monali Thakur and Bob. First track of the album. Music is very nice, but lyrics are ordinary. Neeraj gives an honest singing performance. Monali complements him well. Bob is good. Track is inconsistent at few places. However, at places track is very nice. Whereas, lyrics of the song seems out of sync with music at some places. If lyrics would have been better, then Raghupati Raghav would have easily been one of the chartbusters of the year. Give it a try and you may like it. There is also a Remix Verison for die-hard 'Raghupati Raghav' fans.
2. Krrish Krrish - Sung by Mamta Sharma, Anirudh Bhola and Rajesh Roshan. This seems a situation based theme track of the film. Enlightens on Krrish the Indian Superhero with this track. Songs seem directly from the 80s when a track is made for the Hero of the film. For example 'Shahenshah Title Track'. Mamta Sharma is at her usual best with this track and gives a superb performance. Music is nice and lyrics are ok. Overall good peppy number and worth listening.
3. Dil Tu Hi Bataa - Sung by Zubeen Garg and Alisha Chinoy. Finally a slow romantic number from the film. Unusual talented singing pairing of Alisha and Zubeen for this track and kudos to Rajesh Ji for such try. Alisha makes a nice comeback to Bollywood with this track. Zubeen gives a fabulous performance. He takes this track to one notch higher. Hope he sings often in Bollywood. 'Dil Tu Hi Bataa' slowly catches you after 2-3 hearings and music grows on you. Music is superlative and lyrics are nice. Worth Listening and definitely one of the best song of the album, if not the best. Give a try to Remix Version of 'Dil Tu Hi Bataa' also if you like this track.
4. You Are My Love - Sung by Mohit Chauhan and Alisha Chinoy. Another unusual talented singing pairing of Mohit and Alisha. Peppy number from the album. Music is feel good but seems dated. However lyrics are funny and entertaining. Mohit and Alisha makes up for the average music with superb singing and makes it worth listening. Both complements each other well. Hope buzz of the song increases more with the video release of this track. Worth listening.
5. God Allah Aur Bhagwaan - Sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. Despite magical pairing of Sonu and Shreya this track is just strictly average and seems extremely dated. Actually lyrics are ordinary and nothing new to offer. Plus, music is inconsistent. Picks up in between and again dips after that. Both lead singers gives their best to this average track. Give it a try if you are die-hard of Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal pairing.

Plusses - Dil Tu Hi Bataa definitely. 'Raghupati Raghav' and 'You Are Love' will be liked by certain section of listeners. All songs can be heard. Few songs may pick up after video and film release.
Minuses - No pre-release Charbusters.

Verdict - 3/5. All the songs of the Krrish 3 can be heard and that's the positive part of Krrish 3. Disappointing part is that Krrish 3 carries colossal expectation on music front and fans will be left little sad after hearing the album. With film and video release songs may pick up which is the good news as song looks extremely situational.
