Himmatwala Embarks Slow Start on Opening Day.

Himmatwala has taken slow start at the box office. As per latest update it has picked up at places in Mumbai, CP Berar, CI and few other regions. But in rest of India collections are still below par. Himmatwala has taken an opening of around 30% on average for the day. Occupancy is decent in Mumbai, CP Berar and CI with around 35-40%+ registered. But in NCR region (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) occupancy of Himmatwala is just around 20-25% on average. In Rest of India also story is same.

With Friday being a Holiday because of National Holiday one would have expected a better opening from the film. Also starring Ajay Devgn who has given hit with Son of Sardaar a better opening is expected. Still with more than half of day left, hoping that film will pick up well in the evening and night shows. As per advance booking report of the later half of the day it is positive in some selected places, even if it is not for the whole India.

It is extremely crucial for Himmatwala to clear 10+ crore nett hurdle for today and 40+ crore nett hurdle for the weekend if it has any chance of touching or crossing 100 crore nett mark at the box office. Anything less than that will be a debacle for the film. A lot of money is riding in the film and we hope that it lives upto its pre-release reputation.

Wait for more update.
