Tubelight has taken better start on Sunday (3rd day) at box office in comparison to both Friday and Saturday as far as Morning shows is concerned. Film has opened to approx 40% occupancy in Morning shows on day 3. Samples are from multiplexes only. Single screens are yet to start of.
Good news is there is growth in Sunday morning shows. However, jump could have been bit better considering today is Holiday. Hope film shows further jump in Noon and Afternoon shows and see good hold in later part of the day.
Tubelight collection so far is strictly decent considering film stars Salman Khan. It is easily Salman's weakest film in 4-5 years or so. Tubelight has received mixed reviews and is mainly doing well because of Salman star power. Whether film can run on its merit, that picture will be clear from Tuesday onward.
Noon Show Update - Tubelight is registering good occupancy of 50-55% in Noon shows across India. Means film is showing bit better growth today. If film further shows growth in Rest of Day (Afternoon, Evening, Night) shows, then it has every chance of touching 25 crore nett or bit more.

ReplyDelete..and it continues with tubelight.. one fair collection over more than 10movies, you are over exicted. It is only 2days pre-eid collection. 43cr in 2 days is a decent collection. 100cr in 4days will shut many mouths. The movie is nice and simple. Many are saying 'worst', Come on.. Get a life. Do they know really know what worst mean? FDS over 90% rate the movie good. Go and watch the movie then you comment.

ReplyDeleteI have never understood jabra fans ..here it's 4 days 100 crore ..jabra has never seen 100 crore in life time ...this movie was never made to be block buster ...tiger zinda hai is for masses ..its like everyone talking talaash was a flop of aamir..it was never made for masses and was may be one of classics later
