Dangal crosses 700 Worldwide, 200 Overseas and 500 in India. Unprecedented and first ever.

Dangal has done some stunning business at box office in last month. Film has crossed unprecedented 700 crore worldwide and 200 crore overseas. In addition film has also crossed 500 crore gross in India alone, which is a first.

Film has simply shattered all box office records. If PK China business is excluded, then literally Dangal is having all box office records in its kitty.

Good news is film is still not out and collecting well be it in India or Overseas. It will be highly difficult for any other new film to challenge Dangal records in near time.

Aamir Khan is the biggest superstar right now in Bollywood. He alongwith his close buddy Salman Khan are two biggest superstars and crowd pullers in India. But after Dangal it is clear that he is ahead in race. However, if some one can again challenge his empire right now, then it is Salman and no doubt he will strike back big with Tubelight in few months time.

Dangal collection breakup till last report

India - INR 520+ crores [INR 386 crore nett].
Overseas - INR 201.7 crores [$ 30 million].

Worldwide Gross Total - 721.7+ crores

  1. top year best for three khans
    salman khan: 9(2015,2012,2011,2010,2005,1999,1994,1991,1989)
    aamir khan: 6(2016,2014,2013,2009,2008,1996)
    shahrukh khan: 5(2007,2004,2002,1998,1995)

Salman is real king next comes his buddy aamir khan and srk is nowhere he was good from 2000 to 2007 but nowhere near these two khans(salman and aamir)
amir is lucky as his releases get best timings. no major releases in four weeks and new year festive no rain , very good time to do business ..
but anyway both are great... aamir is little lucky and he does very less film.

  7. AAMIR started doing one film at a time in 2001(lagaan & dch). And now the whole bollywood is follwing him. Including salman and srk. And quality wise salman is no where near Aamir. No oscar nomination, or Bafta nomination nor in IMDB 250. Plus he started 100cr,200cr,300cr, and 385cr and counting...
