Dangal 2nd Monday (11th Day) Collection Update. Chasing PK. Dream Run Continues.

Dangal is now marching towards PK lifetime collection mark and that factor is assured by outstanding hold on 2nd Monday [11th day] as early samples for Morning and Noon shows are coming in.

Dangal has opened to 30-35% occupancy in Morning shows on day 11. This is extra-ordinary considering it is start of second weekdays. Dangal has again exceeded all trade expectation and registered outstanding opening on day 11. Film after that has shown big growth in Noon to report occupancy of around 55%.

Occupancy Report of Dangal for 2nd Monday [Samples only] -

Morning - 30-35%
Noon - 55%

There is no doubt film is holding excellent when samples are compared to 2nd Friday so far. There is again a big chance that film will show further big growth from Evening onward. Expect another massive day at box office. Dream run is just continuing.

  4. Dangal is going Hum aapke hain kaun way - it would be nice to see if Ankur can report about footfalls - till date HAHK leads the footfall record of 7cr+ by a huge margin

  6. People, you cannot compare footfalls of movies released 15 to 20 years ago with current movies...a lot has changed since then...for example, footfalls are affected a lot these days because of movies being made available online just few days after its release (in few cases, even before movies are released like in the case of Great Grand Masti)....footfalls in hollywood are also declining because of this factor....so it would be unfair to compare footfalls of Dangal with movies like HAHK.....movies are released in more screens these days, but movies these days are in cinemas for far less weeks than 15 to 20 years ago...
