Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is leading the screen count fight from Shivaay in second week also. ADHM led Shivaay in first week battle and story is same for week two. However Shivaay is enjoying single screen benefit as it is leading there.
ADHM has retained an estimated 1800-1900 screens for week two. This is substantial to score huge. Film has done good business in week one and is now expected to zoom past 100 crore nett in coming days. Where it will finish in its lifetime business will depend on how film lands on 2nd Friday (8th day) at box office. ADHM with decent holding in second weekend will ensure a Hit status at box office.
Shivaay has retained an estimated 1500+ screens for week two. Screening is significant and film can score big in 2nd week also, with decent to good trending. Shivaay is closing on 70 crore nett and 2nd Friday (8th day) holding will determine whether film has steam left to touch or cross 100 crore nett mark. Since, film budget is on higher side, ideally film needs to collect in excess of 120-125 crore nett to attain Clean Hit status. That's look bit far right now.
