Dilwale 2nd Week Box Office Collection

Dilwale has collected a decent 32 crore nett in second week at box office. Film showed decent trending in 2nd weekend and after that remained steady in lower levels through 2nd weekdays. Film collected around 21.2 crore nett in second weekend and added a further 10.75 crore nett approx from 2nd Monday to 2nd Thursday. Film total collection after 14 days is approx 134.4 crore nett.

Dilwale will cross 140 crore nett in 3rd week most probably inside 3rd weekend if all goes well. However film needs now decent to good trending to touch 150 crore nett. If film trends decently from here on and sustains well till 8th January, then there is an outside chance of touching 160 mark also in its lifetime.

Collection Breakup -

1st Week - 102.45 crore nett.
2nd Weekend - 21.2 crore nett.
2nd Monday - 2nd Thursday - 10.75 crore nett (est).

Total - 134.4 crore nett (approx).

  1. Dilwale will only be an average fare at Indian BO..but the film has done exceptionally well overseas and the makers have raked in profits from satellite, music etc..But a disappointment for SRK as he needs to get India BO numbers going... Salman Aamir are hitting 300 crores and he is struggling for even 200...time for some introspection

    1. Well said, but also we need to consider the screen count. Dilwale performed well with 2800 screen n even lesser (approx 1800) in second week. Even Salman Khan had Jai Ho last year after Dabaang 2 and also Aamir Khan had Taalash and Dhobi Ghat. Nevertheless SRK is having 2 powerful movies in d pipeline this year.

    1. SRK got finished in 2007 itself whn he sold crap product in om shanti om and took on class director bhansali. Always remember form is temporary and class is permanent and cinema is director medium. Only good director like hirani, kabeer khan, bhansali can make 50 year old uncles to deliver 300cr hit

  12. Dilwale Crosses 20 Million In Overseas Markets in Just 2 Weeks.

Dilwale crossed the $20 million mark in two weeks becoming only the fourth film to do this in the first phase of release after Dhoom 3, PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The apprx two week business in its biggest markets is as follows.

    UK - $3,000,000
    US / Canda - $4,500,000
Gulf - $7,000,000 (SECOND HIGHEST EVER)
    Australia - $775,000
    Pakistan - $1,750,000
Malaysia - $825,000 (ALL TIME RECORD)
Rest Of The World - $2,650,000

    GRAND TOTAL - $20,500,000

The film has grossed over $15 million from the big four markets of UK< US /Canada, Gulf and Australia despite under performance in US and Australia. The film has a big number in Pakistan and smashed all records in Malaysia by huge margins.

The business in Overseas will see a dip in the New Year as holidays end in Various markets but the film probably has legs to add another $2.5 million, maybe even more. The film will basically do around 80% of its India GROSS in Overseas which is very rare for a film with a Overseas release in just the regular markets.
