Dilwale has opened to decent occupancy on 2nd Sunday (10th day) at box office. Film opened to around 30-35% occupancy today which is similar to that of 2nd Friday. After that film has picked up big in Noon to record occupancy of around 60-65% which is better than 2nd Saturday but little lower than 2nd Friday. Dilwale screening is reduced significantly in second week and above that film is finding tough to show excellent occupancy. Occupancy are just decent to good. But with lesser screening film need big occupancy which is missing.
Dilwale 2nd Sunday collection is aiming for 7-8 crore nett range mark. Ideally it should have been close to 9-10 crore nett. Dilwale second weekend is now looking at around 22 crore nett mark. Figures are strictly decent only. Film business with such face value and buzz and with Holiday period starting should have been better. Still few days are left till 1st of January, 2016 and let's see how film goes till then. After that it will be uphill task to survive and may collect in lower level till next big release. Another concern is hope that film doesn't see big drop on 2nd Monday like it did earlier on 1st Monday. If that happens it will be a big impact on film progress and lifetime collection.
