Brothers First Week Box Office Collection

Brothers has collected a strictly decent 72.35 crore nett approx in 1st week at box office. Film reached respectable number all because of superlative first weekend performance. Film collected a very good 52 crore nett in first 3 days and then collected a meager 20+ crore nett in rest 4 days.

Generally collection of over 70 crore nett in week 1 is said good but not in case of Brothers. Reason film had favourable release date and big release across India. Plus, film is carrying good budget and need to collect big to recover the investment. Plus film makes first collaboration of Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar production and many in trade expecting the film to zoom past 100 crore nett mark and even were confident of going over 150 crore nett.

But that is not the case anymore. Film is now fighting hard to even touch 100 crore nett mark. 100 crore is not even a benchmark now for such big release and that suggest how film is under performing. If film holds well on 2nd Friday and shows big jump on 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday then there is chance of touching 100 crore mark. Otherwise fate of the film is sealed.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 15.2 crore nett.
Saturday - 21.4 crore nett.
Sunday - 15.45 crore nett.
Monday - 6.2 crore nett.
Tuesday - 5.1 crore nett.
Wednesday - 4.75 crore nett.
Thursday - 4.25 crore nett (est).

Total - 72.35 crore nett (approx).

  5. review: ‘All Is Well’

This film is a road trip that keeps going
round and round till the viewer’s head is spinning.
The only good thing about the film is it ends in two
    hours.

  6. Review :'manjhi-the mountain man'

    Manjhi turns out to
be just like his signature dialogue- “Shaandaar
Zabardast Zindabad”. This inspiring tale is appalling
and gladly brilliantly executed. Manjhi is like India’s
Thor – the man with the hammer and a determination
    even stronger than that!

    Rating : ***1/2

  7. what do you mean by fate of film is sealed, if a big film like dil dhadakne do with great star cast and director collects 77 crores in its entire run and is considered above average then why will brothers not be a safe bet if it collects 90-100 crores, please do not be biased and dont give words like landing cost and investment, what was the investment,at the most 85 crores?

  8. Nawazuddin Siddiqui owns the role of Manjhi. He
literally lives through this role and his brilliant act
makes this film a compelling watch. There are two
heroes of this film – one is the script and second is
Nawaz by all means. His hard-work and efforts
exemplify what a fine actor he is!
