Dil Dhadakne Do First Day Opening Update. Varied Across India.

Dil Dhadakne Do has taken varied opening across India. Film has started well in multiplexes specially in Metros and big cities on 1st day (Friday). However film has taken dull opening in Single Screens literally all across India be it Metros, Big Cities or interiors.

DDD opened to around 25% occupancy in Morning shows which is very much on lower level. Film started around 25-30% occupancy in Multiplexes, whereas start in Single Screens is just about 15-20%. However film picked up in Noon shows which is good news. In fact it reported very good occupancy in many multiplexes specially the high end ones.
Film reported a very good occupancy in around 45-50% for Noon shows in multiplexes. High end plexes in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon reported occupancy as high as 60-70% which is very good. But others remain strictly average. Single Screens also picked up in Noon shows but by not much.

Overall film should do good business in metros and big cities. Rest of India business for today will just be below average to average. Film should show further jump from Evening as weekend is approaching. Good business in later half of the day will ensure film a decent first day collection at box office.
