Dil Dhadakne Do has registered a good jump on 2nd day (Saturday) at box office as per estimates. Film has collected around 12.25 crore nett on Saturday which is very very decent. Thus, film has registered a solid jump of around 15-20% on Saturday from Friday. Jump is bigger in multiplexes with around 25-30% reported. Whereas in Single screens film has hold well and recorded a jump of 5-10%. Overall numbers are good, but easily could have been better also. DDD total collection after two days is estimated around 22.75 crore nett. Film first weekend collection now is heading for 37-38 crore nett mark.
Dil Dhadakne Do budget is around 65-70 crore. Thus, film needs a good amount of theatrical distributor share to recover its investment. Film will need to score close to 100 crore nett business to be in safe zone. Right now film has started decent, could have easily done more business also. Sunday film is expected to see another jump as multiplex audiences will come in good numbers to watch the flick. However real test will start from Monday, which will suggest whether film is holding well or not for coming days.
