Gabbar is Back 1st Day (Friday) Collection Early Trends

Gabbar is Back is heading for a good first day number at box office. Film has started well at box office on Friday Morning with occupancy in the region of around 40%. After that film picked up further in Noon shows specially in multiplexes to record occupancy in the region of 50%. As per current status film has further picked up from Evening onward is pushing for 60% occupancy range. As weekend is approaching film should do well in Night shows also. However single screen might see a drop in Night shows as it is rocking all over in Day time.

As reports are coming as latest from various parts of India. Gabbar is doing extremely well in Mumbai with occupancy reported around 75% for the latest. Pune is again rocking with little drop here and there reported from day time. Still occupancy is in the region of 85-90% which is excellent. No doubt film is benefitted heavily from Maharashtra Day. Gabbar has picked up in Delhi also where latest occupancy reported around 55%. Gurgaon has picked up big with occupancy reported around 70%. Kanpur and Lucknow is performing on lower level with average occupancy as from latest.

Occupancy Report of Gabbar is Back for Evening-Night Shows ( 8 pm report) -

Delhi - 55% [25-30% N]
Gurgaon - 70% [40-45% N]
Mumbai - 75% [70-75% N]
Pune - 85-90% [90%+ N]
Kanpur - 25% [30% N]
Lucknow - 30% [35-40% N]

N = Noon shows

Though it is too early to make any prediction for the day. But looking at early trends and samples, Gabbar should collect in the region of 13-14 crore nett for the day. Even in worst case scenario from here on film is heading for 12+ crore nett for the day. If rest of night shows perform exceedingly well then there is a chance of touching even 15 crore nett for the day which will be great start. Either way film is the biggest opener of the year and now should perform well through the opening weekend.
