Gabbar is Back India Theatrical rights are brought up by Kumar Mangat in a package deal alongwith Dharam Sankat Mein. As per information both films distribution rights are acquired by Mr. Mangat for Rs 60 crore deal. Breakup is around 42 crore for rights of the both film and 18 crore for P&A.
Individual breakup of both the films will be like - Rs 45-50 crore for Gabbar is Back and around Rs 10-15 crore for Dharam Sankat Mein. That means Mr. Mangat is extremely confident that Gabbar is Back is going to rock box office and he expects film to collect over 90 crore nett to be safe prospect.
Akshay Kumar is lead star in Gabbar is Back. He recently delivered the highest grosser of the year in Baby in 2015. Hope with Gabbar he goes one step ahead and hopefully film crosses 100 crore mark also. At least Mangat is expecting them looking at his acquired price.
Gabbar releases on 1st May and expect at least 4 big opening days as there is Holiday on Friday (May Day) with Saturday and Sunday to go by. Plus Monday is Holiday in most part of India on occasion of Buddha Purnima. Expect film to collect big at least in initial 4 days.
