Roy is doing really well on second day (Saturday) at box office as early trends for the day is coming in. In fact film is doing much better in multiplexes in comparison to first day. However there are drop reported in single screens, but that is in minuscule range. Anyways film did just average business in single screen on day one and same is expected from it in day two also. Film is basically riding on multiplex power right now.
Roy has started the 2nd day with bang in Morning shows reporting around 50% occupancy. After that film picked up big to register occupancy in the region of 65% for Noon and Afternoon shows. Jump is big in Noon shows and that is mainly due to youth coming to theaters on Valentine's day occasion. After that film is holding pretty well currently as latest reports are coming in. As per latest film is reporting occupancy in the region of 65% which is pretty good.
Jump in multiplexes is around 25% for today which is very good considering the fact that film did well on 1st day also. However film is performing on par or little below at places as samples from single screens are coming in. Overall samples for the day suggest film is enjoying a good jump of 15-20%+ today and that means Roy is heading for another double digit finish at box office. Final numbers for the day will depend on how rest of Night shows performs for the day. Roy has collected around 10.25 crore nett on day one. Early Trends suggest film should be in the region of 22-23 crore nett by the end of day 2.
