Akshay Kumar's Airlift Movie will Release on 22nd January, 2016!

Producers of Baby have come together for another edge on seat thriller this time in 'Airlift.' Film stars Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles. Film is set for release on 22nd January, 2016 (Republic Day Weekend). Interestingly producer also released their recent film 'Baby' in this year Republic Day Weekend, which boosted film's overall collections. Same way they have locked in for 2016. Although Ajay Devgn's Shivaay is also tentatively scheduled for 22nd January, 2016, but it looks highly unlikely that film will be completed in time considering the various hardship and delays faced by that film.

Airlift is a story of largest human evacuation based on true events. Film will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon.

Shooting of Airlift will commence soon this February in few days time. It will be shot in huge scale and budget will be much bigger than that of Baby. Story is after all about highest human evacuation. Film has many high octane action sequences and it will definitely be an edge on seat thriller like Baby as mentioned by producer Bhushan Kumar himself.

  2. Addatoday.com I think India was Independent on 15 August, 1947 not January, that was Republic Day.

Awesome Awesome Awesome now Akshay Sir has good movie line up in future, so next year Republic Day weekend on 22nd January 2016, the January highest record of Agneepath will definitely break.

    2. airlift is based on true story about thousands of indians who were evacuated/ airlifted from kuwait to india during gulf war when iraq under saddam hussain attacked kuwait and the indian community was stranded there

  4. Biggest Problem is the Ajay Devgan starrer Shivaay. Plz Akshay postponed Airlift. Otherwise Whitewash is Confirmed.

First of all Ajay's Shivaay will not be directed by Rohit Shetty so there is no chance to whitewash at least hahaha, second Shivaay will be Ajay's self directing movie who have no chance to be a hit sure it will flop like other remaining Ajay's directional movies in past U me aur Hum etc.....

If Shivaay will clash with Airlift then definitely Airlift will crash Shivaay's First day First Weekend First Week and lifetime collections. I read about Airlift which is looking very awesome story about human evacuation in Arab countries plus according to Addatoday.com movie have biggest action sequences. So January highest record by Agneepath will be break by Airlift. got that Mr. V Shantaram
