Tevar has opened better on Sunday (3rd day) from previous day. But still jump can't be touted as big as compared to first 2 days. Tevar opened to 25-30% occupancy in Morning shows in comparison to first two days when occupancy is around 20%. After that film has shown further jump and is currently showing occupancy of around 35-40%. Film is failing to show good jump all around through the weekend and there are two main factors for that. First is obviously the film content which is highly mixed and hence, limited jump on Sunday. Other is PK wave which is still going on at places.
Occupancy Report of Tevar for Sunday Noon shows -
Delhi - 30%
Gurgaon - 40%
Mumbai - 30%
Kanpur - 30%
Lucknow - 50%
Pune - 45%
Tevar has collected around 13.75-14 crore nett in first two days at box office. Looking at Sunday trends film is heading for a weekend collection of around 22-23 crore nett mark. Tevar is carrying significant budget. Plus film is released in wide screens of around 2800. Considering both the factors film first weekend numbers should have been much better than where it is heading for.
