Tevar has collected a moderate 7 crore nett on 1st day (Friday) at box office. Numbers are strictly decent considering film had a huge release in 2800 screens across India. Film average occupancy for day one is just around 25% which is considered on lower range. Multiplexes hovered around poor 20-25% occupancy for the day, whereas single screens are little bit better with occupancy of around 30-35% on average.
Tevar needs good push on 2nd day (Saturday) and 3rd day (Sunday) to put up decent numbers for the weekend. If film gets good jump then there is a chance that film might collect 25 crore nett or more for the weekend.
Numbers for Friday are decent but could have been better seeing the overall occupancy. However Tevar released on normal Friday, and it can go up only from here, unless there is huge negative word of mouth. So far Tevar start is decent and hope that film shows good growth through the weekend.
