Kill Dil is heading for a moderate first day (Friday) collection at box office as early trends are coming in. Estimates suggest film is heading for around 6-7 crore nett 1st day total. Large single screen data is still to be received and accordingly final number will vary.
Kill Dil started slowly the day with occupancy of around 20% reported for Morning shows. After that film showed limited jump in Noon shows with occupancy in the region of 20-25% reported. Film showed some jump from Evening onward, but that was not enough to push for huge first day numbers at box office. Evening and Night shows reported an occupancy of around 40% which is just strictly decent.
Kill Dil had a wide release across India and trade expected the film to go somewhere near 10 crore nett at least for day one. But film has under performed and thus, numbers are on lower side. Now film needs to show good growth on Saturday (2nd Day) and Sunday (3rd Day) to put up respectable first weekend numbers.
