Khoobsurat has started slow on Friday at box office. Film has got limited release and thus slow start is alarming. But film has picked up well after that and is registering decent occupancy for latest shows, which is good news.
Khoobsurat has opened to around 20% occupancy in Morning shows in multiplexes. After that film has shown decent jump with each passing show and currently registering occupancy in the region of 45-50% for Evening shows. However film screening is limited and film needs even bigger occupancy for rest of the night shows to put up decent numbers for day one.
Khoobsurat is registering very good occupancy of around 70-80% in Gurgaon as per latest report. In Delhi also film is doing well with occupancy in the region of 55-60%. In Mumbai film is slow with occupancy in the region of 30-35% reported for the evening shows.
Overall occupancy of Khoobsurat is better than other release Daawat-e-Ishq. But later is released in much bigger screens across India. Hence, first day numbers of Khoobsurat might come below Daawat-e-Ishq.
Though its early to make any prediction looking at trends Khoobsurat first day numbers should be in the region of 3-4 crore nett mark which is much below the expected level. If Night shows perform well, actual collection may come higher than the expected level.
Occupancy Report for Khoobsurat for Friday Evening shows:
Delhi - 55-60%
