Raja Natwarlal had an average start at box office on Friday. Film opened to around 20-25% occupancy in Morning shows. After that film has remained on lower level in Noon, Afternoon shows. Film has shown limited jump in collection from Evening onward and as from latest occupancy is in the range of 30-35% which is still below par. Occupancy in single screen though is little better in the region of 35%+.
Raja Natwarlal stars Emraan Hashmi in lead role and generally he is a good crowd puller in mass dominated centers. With this film he has not able to manage good opening, although major single screen reports are still to come for the day. An opening of around 40%+ would have been said as nice, but that is not the case anymore.
Delhi is currently showing occupancy in the region of 25-30% which is below par. Mumbai is around 30%+ for latest shows, which is still below the mark. Gurgaon is little better with occupancy of around 30-35%, which is general case for weekend films. Mumbai showed decent occupancy in day time as today is Holiday there, still figures are below par.
Film needs now strong word of mouth to pick up strongly at box office, specially on Saturday and Sunday to put up decent numbers for the weekend.
As for First Day collection of the film, it will be average to decent as released in good screen space. Trend suggest film should collect in the range of 5-6+ crore nett for day one, which is strictly decent. Though these are early trends and major single screen reports are yet to be received. If film does well there then chances are that final number may come little higher than expected trend.
