Dhoom 3 has taken slow start at ticket counters on 3rd Friday Morning shows. Film has managed to register occupancy of 15-20% on average across India. This is normal as film is into 3rd week and whatever it collects from here is added bonus as most audiences has watched the flick already. However good news is that Dhoom 3 has managed to retain majority screens again this week despite two new releases Sholay 3D and Mr. Joe B Carvalho. That means even a moderate occupancy of say 25% for the day will accumulate good numbers because of wide screens it has still got.
Dhoom 3 Third Friday Morning shows occupancy report (Selected multiplexes) - Delhi and Gurgaon has registered an occupancy of around 20%. Mumbai has registered an occupancy of 16-17% for the same.
Ideally Dhoom 3 will aim for 15 crore nett or more third weekend collection and if possible reach near 25 crore nett by the end of 3rd week, if it dreams of any chance to touch 300 crore nett at box office. Even that may not be enough for the film. Still let's wait and see whether Dhoom 3 can suprise us again this week or not and be the first film to achieve this near impossible target. Realistically film should finish its lifetime business around 280-285 cror nett mark, which will be a fabulous benchmark in coming days.
