There is a big screen fight among four films Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Singh Saab The Great, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Krrish 3. Although Krrish 3 will be into 4th week still it has managed to retain some of the screenings for the week, but it will be very less in numbers. There is a three way fight between GTPM, Ram Leela and SSTG for the major India screens this week specially in huge multiplex chain.
Last week release Ram Leela is doing exceptionally well at box office and exhibitors has shown the confidence and has retained most of the screens for the film in second week running. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has able to manage decent screening in multiplex, but would have managed even more had there been no Ram Leela. Singh Saab The Great starring Sunny Deol has surprisingly managed decent enough screening in multiplex chain despite many films fighting for each other. That shows exhibitor's confidence on Sunny Paaji Dhaai Kilo Ka Haath.
Screens are still adding up and it will go on till tomorrow (22nd November) Morning. From sample received from Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kanpur, here are below the percentage allocation of the respective films in leading multiplexes for Friday tomorrow -
Krrish 3 - 5.7%
Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela - 35%
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein - 37%
Singh Saab The Great - 21.75%
Coming to Single Screens which is a major factor in deciding the theatrical distributor share for India. There is no doubt that 3 films Ram Leela, GTPM and SSTG will share among themselves all the screens. But one factor which might tilt the favour for one particular film there and that is Sunny Deol Mass Power! And expect huge opening of Sunny Deol in Northern Belt which could another be game changer for tomorrow!
