Boss has collected an estimated 8.5-8.75 crore nett on Thursday (2nd Day) at the Indian Box office. Datas are compiled and hence actual may vary. Boss has shown lesser drop in Single Screen on Thursday despite having a rocking run on Opening Day. Film has shown 20-25% drop in collections in Single Screen which is pretty decent considering Thursday was working day. In fact Boss is holding very good in interiors, that is B and C centers. Even Mass dominated centers are performing well. However picture is different for Metros and Multiplexes. Film has started on poor note in multiplexes on Opening Day and story is same for Thursday also. Despite having mediocre collection on first day in plexes, still film registered a big drop of 35-40% in plexes on 2nd Day running.
Film is however receiving positive word of mouth. That means film should pick up in plexes from Friday Evening onwards as weekend is approaching. Still major chunk of money will be generated from Single Screen in coming days for Boss and that will determine how far film can go in long run. In addition to that multiplex weekend running will be a bonus. Despite an average start at box office, Boss still has a very good chance of touching or crossing 100 crore nett and picture will be clear by the end of first Sunday.
