OUATIMD Friday Collection Early Trends. Heads for Decent Day.

Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara has collected humongous 11+ crore nett in around 1200 screens on First Day (Thursday) at box office. Today is a normal working Friday. Film has again opened to decent occupancy at box office. Although it is a well known fact that OUATIMD will not be able to match the occupancy of 15th August as it got the benefit of National Holiday.

As for Friday, film opened to 30-40% occupancy in Morning shows. After that film sustained well and now registering around 50-55% for Afternoon shows and Evening shows. That means film is picking up. If same scenario is witnessed for the Night shows then expect another good day for OUATIMD.

OUATIMD registered an occupancy of around 45-50% for Delhi and Gurgaon City for afternoon and evening shows. Occupancy is better in Mumbai with 55% for afternoon and evening shows. Hyderabad is registering very good occupancy of around 80-85% for afternoon and evening shows.

OUATIMD first target for Friday would be to pass the Thursday collection mark of 11 crore nett. For that it is rightly on its way. After that whatever it collects more is bonus as Friday is a normal working day unlike Thursday. Although it is to be noted that OUATIMD has been released in around 1100 more screens on Friday from Thursday.

Though it is too early to give any predictions as Night shows are still to be started and major single screens report is yet to be received. But looking from early trends film should collect 13-14 crore nett for the day. Actual may be even more if Night shows register big jump. If that happens, it will be a big plus for the film as today is working day and Saturday and Sunday is still to start. Anything more than that is added bonus and anything less than that is a little bit of worry.
