Chennai Express Monday Collection Early Trends.

Here is the latest update on Chennai Express Monday (Fourth Day) collection at the Indian Box Office. Film has stated slowly today in Morning shows registering an occupancy of 25% on average across all India. Then it showed little pick up here and there to 30%, but mostly remain in that range. From afternoon shows film has picked up and now it is registering an occupancy of around 38-40% all over India.

Film is registering an occupancy of around 35-40% in Delhi and Gurgaon City in afternoon and evening shows. In Mumbai it is around 45% for afternoon and evening shows. If one considers the huge screen size and Monday as working day then collections are pretty good till now. But, if one considers the record breaking performance of CE till Sunday, collections could have been better.

Anyways, above report is mainly on the sample received from multiplexes, which generally shows more drop than single screens. Major single screens report is still to be received. Plus, night shows are still to start which can pick up hugely considering today is a working day.

Coming to Monday collections. It is too early to make any statement for the day. Looking after the samples and early trend film should collect in the vicinity of around 12-14 crore nett mark. This is just an estimate and final numbers may vary.

Note - Monday Record is held by Ek Tha Tiger with 19+ crore nett. Monday Non-Holiday Record is held by Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with 12.75 crore nett.
