Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobara Music Review.

Here is the Music Review of much awaited film Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobara starring Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. OUATIM (The First Installment) music was nice and remained in the mind of music listeners for a long time. Because of that there is big expectation from the 2nd installment. So, will OUATIM Dobara be able to stand in the massive expectation that it carries musically. Without any further delay let's start the music review of OUATIM Dobara.

Music - Pritam
Lyrics - Rajat Aroraa
1. Ye Tune Kya Kiya - Sung by Javed Bashir. OUATIMD music album start with the track 'Ye Tune Kya Kiya.' Song video is already out and ruling the chart for a long time. Sweet romantic number to start the album. Music is well composed by Pritam and winner all the way. Javed singing is first rated and does justice to the song. Song looks situational and will pick up even more after the film release. Must Listen.

2. Tayyab Ali - Sung by Javed Ali. This track is a remake of old classic 'Tayyab Ali from Amar Akbar Anthony which was a masterpiece.' Although it is a remake still it is a variant from the original. If one compares it to the old one, they might dislike it. But makers might have embedded the song in the film as the song is extremely situational to film scene progress. Javed sings well and thump his own authority to the song. Overall fun filled number. Give it a try.

3. Tu Hi Khwaihsh - Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. This is the best track of this album. Sunidhi Chauhan sings the song as she owns it. She is at her magical best and makes adrenaline rush with her solid singing. Music of Pritam is top notch and he shows why he is best if not the best at the moment. This song remind us the retro numbers of 70s and 80s, when music is composed by R.D Burman in his magical style. Hope the film situation does enough justice to this song and makes it a chartbuster after the film release. Must Listen.

4. Chugliyaan - Sung by Javed Ali & Sahir Ali Bagga. Another romantic number after 'Ye Tune Kya Kiya'. Music looks even similar to Ye Tune Kya Kiya at the first hearing. But honestly it is different. Music is again in top notch by Pritam. Javed Ali is very good with his singing and Sahir complements him well. Since, video of this song is released, want to add a personal opinion. Song picturisation could have been better as this track is really nice and deserve better. But still hope that song fits with the film situation and picks up after the film release. Worth Listening.

Plusses - Tu Hi Khwaihsh, Ye Tune Kya Kiya, Chugliyaan.
Minuses - Song picturisation could have been better.

Verdict - 3.5/5. Songs are nice of OUATIMD. Although 4 songs are there in the film, but everyone is worth listening. Only concern is that song picturisation could have been better and it would have further lifted the songs. That's personal opinion and many may differ with it. Overall OUATIMD delivers on Quality rather than Quantity. Nice music album to have in your playlist. Grab it!
