With Ek Tha Tiger on its way to sure shot All Time Blockbuster, its right time to look at the ATBB across the Bollywood Box Office History. Bollywood has till now delivered 17 ATBBs and ETT will be the 18th to join this prestigious list by the end of 2nd week or 3rd weeekend for sure. Below are the List of All Time Blockbuster. Last ATBBs are Dabangg (2010) and 3 Idiots (2009).

ReplyDeleteThe ATBB status being given now is totally faulty. While earlier it was once or twice in a decade it is now almost every year a ATBB is being produced. It is surprising that how a film like ETT who could not hold properly even for two weeks and whose earnings is mainly due to strategic timing can be declared an ATTB. I think after gadar ek prem katha the only film truly a ATBB is 3 idiots. Rest are hype with no cinematic and repeatitive value.

have to agree upto a certain extent with you. Content wise, GADHAR; Ek prem Katha,and 3 Idiots are movies to remember for decades, thats for sure. For the others there is such strong doubt!
Deletecommon on yar before that in india films are not soo much creative just typical fighting movies. so that's way they not get ATBB title. now movies make more even every week new big movie released. so its ETT in thirday week it doing daily more then 2 crore business so it deserve to bi life time block baster. and one more thing before that film also release on small set up and ppl watch in cinema just but now dvd ppl can watch at home after a week of release of movie
