Good news are pouring as near the release of Bodyguard coming. First Bodyguard is releasing on Wednesday itself, its confirmed. It will be noon release. Release on Wednesday will be around 80-85%, then on Thursday it will go bigger to 95% and on Friday it will be just full throttle.

Bodyguard collection on Wednesday will still is historic as the advance booking is the best ever in Bollywood Box Office. Opening weekend advance booking is more or less sold out in many major circuits. AP it is biggest till date in Indian film industry. Delhi advance booking is historic. Since Bodyguard is planned for release on Wednesday on 31st August. It is very difficult to release a film on Wednesday in wide scale as already running film has a tieup with distributor till thursday. But due to new releases failure and Salman wave distributors around 85% all India have given green signal for Bodyguard release on Wednesday itself. It is a huge success in itself for Boydguard as pre-Friday release of film generally gets on average 50-60% max release all India. Now wait for a havoc on this coming Wednesday.

Salman Khan's Bodyguard releasing with 2250 screens in India and 482 Overseas. Official. Biggest ever release by miles!

Bodyguard, another of Salman Khan's trademark Eid releases, will open across 2,250 screens in 70 Indian cities and with 482 overseas prints. With such a huge release, the movie could score one of the biggest openings ever. After the huge success of Dabangg and Ready, which marked Salman's stunning comeback, Bodyguard's release will be closely tracked by the industry that banks as much on luck and hype as on glitz.

Eid has been lucky for Salman since the release of Wanted in 2009, followed by Dabangg a year later. Dabangg and Ready grossed Rs 190 crore and Rs 140 crore, respectively, at the box office.  

 

The makers of Bodyguard are sparing no expense to ensure a hat-trick of Salman Khan hits. The co-producer, Reliance Entertainment, has lined up a marketing and print budget of around Rs 22 crore - the highest so far in Bollywood. In a trade characterised by surprises and dramatic reversals of fortune, financiers are keen to cash in while the sun shines on Salman.

Hrithik Roshan has found a fan in actor Govinda. Impressed with his new music video for the Star Plus show, Just Dance, the actor appeared as a star-judge on the show for the Ganesh Chaturthi special episode. It was shot at Film City over the weekend and will be aired on September 3. The music video in question, is the second of the series. After watching the first video Govinda even sent Hrithik a congratulatory message.

When asked, choreographer-director Farah Khan, Hrithik’s co-judge on the show confirms: “Govinda was mind-blowing. Each participant wanted to dance with him and he didn’t say no. The shoot took long to get over, but no one was complaining.”

Bodyguard Box Office Collection - Prediction! Bodyguard Week.

It is an uphill task really to predict or estimate an income of Bodyguard. For a potential blockbuster, all the ingredients needed is present in Bodyguard. It is rather unusual also since, opening weekend is going to be 5 days. Still will try to formulate few things to know how much potential it has to go all the way.

Salman Khan last two films (Dabangg, Ready) scored heavily in box office and crossed 100 crore nett mark easily. His fans waiting eagerly for his next release. Hype is tremendous. His film Wanted and Dabangg had relatively new team no big production house, but it went to become mega Hits. Now just imagine in Bodyguard he has an excellent director in Siddique, who has given numerous hits including original Hera Pheri in south. Music is liked by masses in a big way. 'I love you' song is infact a rage in youth. 

Also nobody can deny Kareena Kapoor factor now. She has got a huge fan following after Jab We Met. My prediction - It will easily break opening weekend, opening week record of Dabangg. 3 Idiots lifetime business record will be broken only if the story is good, with superb acting and direction. Music is thumbs up, so no problem as such in that line. Potential Blockbuster on the way.

2. Sajh Dhaj Ke - Lots of Desi Track in recent times (Say, Madhubala from MBKD or Desi Beats from Bodyguard). But it creates its originality and space. Will pick up after 2-3 hear. Nice dance number desi iishtyle!

3.  Ik Tu Hi Tu Hi - After 'Teri Meri' from Bodyguard and 'Isq Risk' from MBKD here comes 'Ik Tu Hi Tu Hi'. Timeless classics are back. If you feel the pain of love, then this is the track to go for. My favourite. Salute!

After giving string of flops and down n dusted, in between few rom coms hits and semi hits, 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar is back with Rowdy Rathod as action hero. In 90s we are used to only one action hero and that is Akshay Kumar. Martial arts is his forte and masses loved him in that avatar. Though his Housefull2 and Joker is under production still what I believe 'Rowdy Rathod' might be his turning point at this stage of career.

We all know how is good actor, everybody just loved him in Namastay London. But recently if you asked anyone regarding him, everybody will agree he is not doing justice to his talent. Lots of wrong scripts are chosen in harakiri and to keep friends happy. Similar story was for Mr. Salman Khan few years back, pre 2009. And he did 'Wanted' with totally new team and with a bankrupt producer and rest is history as said.

Post Wanted came Dabangg and Singham and action masala is back to bollywood and thankfully to masses and die hard masala fans. 

Now as for 'Rowdy Rathod' the 'Wanted' team is back, but this time Sanjay Leela Bhansali as producer. Prabhu Deva after super success Wanted is back to directorial venture of Rowdy Rathod. It will have lots of action scenes. Akshay Kumar will train hard in 'Combat Karate'. Hope this is a positive turning phase in Akshay's career junction.

Singham set to rock 3rd week and ZNMD set to rock 4th week.

Due to low opening of new releases this Friday, Singham and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara are set to get benefited. The openings of Chala Mussaddi-Office Office, Warning and I am Kalam ranged from 5 to 10 percent with negligible improvement during the latter shows. Comparatively speaking I AM KALAM fared best at select multiplexes of metros but the performance is nothing to write home about.

Singham has till now collected  74.65 cr nett in 2 weeks, whereas ZNMD has collected 77 cr nett in 3 weeks. also, to be noted that Singham has a good space in Single Screens and ZNMD has a good own space in Multiplexes. So, both the film has free run in its own spaces. As per early figure Singham has collected around 1.5 cr nett in its 3rd Friday and ZNMD has collected 1 cr nett in its 4th Friday. Simply outstanding.

Original HE-MAN of Bollywood Dharmendra rocks TV TRPs. Old is Gold!

Bollywood original He-man 'Dharmendra' debuts at small screen with 'India's Got Talent', It has garnered maximum television rating points (TRPs), scoring over Hrithik Roshan's 'Just Dance', Preity Zinta's 'Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega' and even Akshay Kumar's 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 4'. 

Dharmendra, 76, is one of the judges on the talent hunt show with actors Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre. The launch episode of the show, aired on Colors on July 29, received a rating of 3.9, according to data by media research agency TAM.

Nagesh Kukunoor next MOD is a Love Story.

Director Nagesh Kukunoor, who was sure not to make a love story ever, proved himself wrong by making MOD. He says it was the story of the film that compelled him to venture into it. 'MOD is my first love story. I had always said I would never make a love story but here I did find something worth telling', Kukunoor told reporters at the launch of the first look of the film on Tuesday.

From the last week of July and first week of August, Bollywood don’t have any big releases because of the auspicious month of Ramzan. Aarakshan is coming on 12 August because of the Independence Day holiday in the week. Sanjay Dutt's Chatur Singh Two Star coming on 19th August. In fact, even Salman Khan's Bodyguard releases on 31st August to coincide with Eid.
